About the Trainer
Bailey is a United States Army Veteran and former Explosive Detection Canine Handler. Through this work, he gained a deep, hands-on understanding of canine behavior and psychology. Working alongside elite dogs in high-pressure environments taught him not only how dogs think, but how to build trust, communicate clearly, and bring out the best in every dog he trains.
Since 2021, Bailey has been sharpening his craft as a professional dog trainer, channeling that passion into founding Dexter’s Canine College. This new chapter allowed him to merge his expertise with a mission: helping people form deeper, more rewarding bonds with their dogs. His commitment to creating lasting human-canine relationships is rivaled only by the love he has for his own dogs—you’ll rarely see him without his loyal White Shepherds, Dexter and Appa, by his side.
So who’s Dexter?
Born in 2019, Dexter has been with Bailey since day one. Always the calm and collected type, Dexter has a few quirks—like peeing on his own feet and then licking them clean (we don’t ask questions). He was a father of eight, including Appa pictured above, but he wasn’t exactly thrilled about it—mostly scared of his own kids, to be honest. These days, he prefers the quiet life: lots of naps, endless cuddles, and just the right amount of back talk.
